Betty's first taped interview of her experience with her Publishers before the publication and release of her book Embraced By The Light. Some of what she shared was met with both warmth and skepticism, neither of which bothered Betty. She gave in simple language greater detail of that which came straight from her heart then she shared in her book.

Betty describes what it is like to see oneself three-dimensionally, being in the black mass, the beautiful sounds that cannot be duplicated on earth and how the pinpoint of light burst forth into a magnificent, brilliant light. She attempts to clarify some of what she experienced that is difficult to express in the language we have as mortals.

Betty also goes into deeper explanation of many topics, such as our auras, the use of prayer, the life-review, the law of expansion, how everything responds to love, how our loved ones on the other-side attempt to influence us for our good and much more. Betty explains how the spirit world is not only filled with love and beauty but is also a place of fun and delight. Everything is multifaceted in the spirit world including our perspective and Betty helps us understand that we actually chose many of the hardships we experience while here on earth and why.

Betty shares what it was like to have the heavens open and fill with angels who lovingly sang to her, as they would to any of us for making a right choice.  Jesus is divine knowledge and love, which radiate from his being and are felt when one is in his presence. We, too, can radiate a portion of his love in our own countenance as we develop our spiritual strength to love by helping others.

What was originally a two-hour interview in 1992 has been condensed to approximately 59 minutes.

  • Dear Betty, thank for your generousity of spirit, sharing your experience and insight. Your work has blessed me for many years. I have devoted my work to helping street youth, loving them and serving, and I have been blessed to learn more of God by loving these 'neighbours'. I emailed you a question for either the podcast or email reply is fine if you are able. thank you, abundant blessings Beloved sister.

  • I greatly appreciate you sharing your experience. I have read "Embraced by the Light" and will be reading "The Awakening Heart" next. I am a Christian, but I think there are many misunderstandings among religious teachings regarding the Bible. I find your experience enlightening and more in line with my understanding of scripture than traditional teachings.

  • Oh Betty, thank you for choosing to be here and complete your mission. I am so very thankful that I am blessed to be part of it. This recording is just wonderful--like an infusion of goodness and helpful understanding. I also echo what Catherine said in her comment before mine! Bless you.

  • Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experiences. Every time I listen to you, watch you, or read your books it touches my heart and reminds me of things I often forget while dealing with the daily stresses of life on earth. I truly appreciate the reminders. Once again thank you and I love you.
